Grey Metrics

GDPR

GreyMetrics has updated a brand new Privacy PolicyTerms and Conditions and Cookie Policy for all the users (including those outside the EU) to ensure the service is compliant with the legal requirements set by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We at GreyMetrics are excited to announce that we’ve made important updates to be in full compliance with the GDPR. We consider user data security is important and we are committed to making future enhancements to ensure data is protected to the highest level possible and also made sure users have all rights to control their own data.

Important steps that were taken by GreyMetrics:

  • Created a brand new Privacy Policy on how precisely we use, collect and share customer data and keep it secure. We have made it clear and easier to understand that users have the right to request to permanently delete your personal data by reaching out to us.

  • Made our terms and conditions document more clear and easy to understand. We have defined the terms of a Subscription, Free Trial, Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.

  • We have appointed a DPO (Data Protection Officer) whose job is to keep your data safe, answer any questions you have about your data and maintain compliance with all applicable laws.

  • We have ensured our vendors(helping us to communicate with our users, for example, HubSpot, Mailchimp..). and data source integrations(example: Google Analytics, Woocommerce, Shopify..) that need access to your data in order to perform their functions are also GDPR compliant.

  • We have updated our “free trial signup form” to include a link to our privacy policy and to our terms and conditions to maintain transparency.

The new Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Terms and Conditions go into effect on October 30, 2020. If you have any questions about these changes, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team at [email protected] .
